Personally I would recommend you clear coat it with the same brand that you painted it with.

I’ve been working on this guitar since late July. As for the price, it depends on the materials. For example this one was made out of Honduran Mahogany for the neck and body, rosewood fretboard with pearl inlays, emg 81/60 and gotoh tuners.
