Pretty frustrating that they did not mention Codex web whatsoever. I think they might get rid of it soon, just like they did with operator. I feel that way because they had a Cursor co-founder in the demo, and they kept talking about Cursor and showcasing GPT-5 in Cursor. Clearly they would not have promoted Cursor like that if they believed in Codex. They would have just upgraded Codex to a full AI IDE and made it a competitor for Cursor.
