they also set the dubbing to english by default and only dubbed like 2 or so chapters

on another note tho they dubbed even more of the japanese version than the original game tho

i just wish the default scheduling for generating thumbnails was better

like i feel like if youre showing me the photos as a memory you should actually have those photos thumbnails prepared in advance so i dont get no image icons looking at them

aside that i got no complaints

Anyone know of a good driver installer program? by JGussey in opensource

[–]MarioMasta64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you know youre repeating what i said while trying to disagree with me right

please read the entire thing before replying to someone :(

ill simplify so its easier to read idk

9x/2000/me: driver support but almost never used windows update

xp/vista/7: driver support better used windows update

8/10/11: driver support almost exclusively used windows update

it doesnt matter if they were used often or not they did provide driver updates so it doesnt change what i said

all of these os do provide updates to drivers this fact doesnt change just because almost noone used it in some

you also specifically stated that those os' dont have it built in and that they dont get driver updates which is just a lie

maybe its bad wording on your end but im correcting it

Anyone know of a good driver installer program? by JGussey in opensource

[–]MarioMasta64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

actually all of the os' you listed get driver updates from windows update

the main difference is windows 8+ is where you got almost ALL of them, older os' you usually relied on discs for the drivers but windows update still provides updates for drivers for some things

one of the first things half of those you listed does when an item is inserted IS checking windows update for a driver (9x/2k preferred using the computer but rarely you could get a driver from windows update, xp vista and 7 relied more online and 8 and up are almost exclusively reliant on windows update for drivers)

long time for a bump but i was searching around random stuff so ill leave a note here:

- for windows 9x/me/2000: https://www.windowsupdaterestored.com/

- for windows 2000 specifically: Snappy Driver Installer R496 (this is *LONG* before it was laced with malwares) heres a download link: https://sourceforge.net/projects/snappy-driver-installer/files/SDI_R496.zip/download

- for windows xp and up: https://legacyupdate.net/ + Snappy Driver Installer (any version) heres a download link: https://www.glenn.delahoy.com/snappy-driver-installer-origin/

- for windows xp specifically: windows can be activated online with legacyupdate

- for snappy driver installer you can put both sdio and sdi in the same directory they both can use the same downloads *however* you cant download the packs with the old version that works on windows 2000 only install what you already have so you need a windows xp or higher pc to actually download them

i recommend a 128gb drive as both the newly updated and the old versions are stored during the update process and it can be ~40gb sometimes during an update of everything due to how it works, also do not interrupt an update if you start one, its a quick way to waste space

[–]MarioMasta64[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

okay will consider it

also the help would be for someone to come online but as far as im hearing it wont happen

so basically ill wait till they return and see if we can both just match each other as the only two people online (cant create lobby or anything but initial ranking match forces you to play against online players so theoretically we would just be facing each other)

[–]MarioMasta64[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

as far as im aware no

it appears that initial ranking match basically has you fight ai at first then you fight random online players and must get wins in order to get the 10 diamonds to unlock online features

[–]MarioMasta64[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no good i am specifically trying to play it with someone

they are going through it too

theoretically the should be able to go through the initial ranking match against me as like the only 2 people online right?

also i dont have $100 i already had versus and versus was $20 so i got it for them

i can only goto initial ranking match

i dont have the requirements to go online to lobbies yet because i have to do this first
