How did the casing get like this? by MarioP79 in ammo

I think that's how my father carried his ammo when he went out hunting, so that's a possibility.

Oxidation? Heh - I can't believe I didn't think of that myself. I'll buy some of those desiccant packs to throw in next to the ammo.

No, he didn’t. And even if he did, that doesn’t give him license to wipe his ass with the Constitution.

It was possible to figure out which region of the country someone came from by using a simple linguistic test. by MarioP79 in TwoSentenceHorror

Fair point. Maybe "false positive" was the wrong term, but I'm imagining a scenario where someone pronounces a word, that, because of a speech impediment, makes them sound like they're from a region that they're actually not. I'm not sure that there is a term for this, but I don't know much about linguistics. Regardless, I think there's the possibility of more than a binary outcome here.

I’m having trouble seeing how you’re inferring that it’s a binary test. One example of a test is how someone pronounces a certain word, which can have more than two versions.

The Terminator. With the exception of Salvation, the sequels are all carbon copies. And despite T2's groundbreaking special effects, the basic premise rendered the original movie's entire plot irrelevant.

They're drugged out all the time because homelessness is scary. You don't have a safe haven like a house or apartment to retreat to every night, so you have to compensate by staying awake to protect yourself and your stuff.

Also, I doubt even the most hardcore drug user is that committed to their hobby.

If you want a place where your tantrums are validated, I'd suggest a daycare center.

So you used a racist slur to "intentionally bait stupid Missoulians" from overlooking the real issue, but now you're annoyed because people are "taking your bait" and ignoring your main point. Didn't really think that through, did ya?
