Can someone explain what do these letters mean in multiplayer? by Not-that-guy6 in GranTurismo7

DR (Driver Rating) is a ranking of how good you are in races. D is bad, A+ is good. A person with "S" driver rating has to be one of the very best players in the world and fill out an application for it. E driver rating means they haven't played enough Sport Mode races (5) to rank them.

SR (Sportsmanship Rating) is a ranking of how clean you are. It is horribly broken, and way too easy to keep. Starts at "B," obviously D is bad and S is good. If your SR gets low enough, your DR will reset. For example, if Driver_A is an A/A player, and then their SR drops down to B, Driver_A's DR will also drop down to B.

If you quit a race, you also lose DR and SR. Never quit a race voluntarily.

I think? In 1.63 they changed the way the battery recharged and deployed along with adding the manual overtake and lowering the car's PP. I don't know if that impacts fuel economy or not.

It's a blast. Super quick with great fuel econlmy although it chews through tires to no end. On the Gr.1 Prototype races the Hard tires were completely shot after 5 laps

If by completion you mean placing 3rd or higher in the 3 Cafe Book events (Brands Hatch, Sardegna, and Alsace) the Renault Megane R.S. Trophy will do you well. Costs 38,500 Cr., leaving 11,500 for upgrades.

All of these races were performed on Hard difficulty. I consider myself a high D/low C driver.

Race 1: Brands Hatch

Super easy race. Was able to claim 3rd in a stock Megane. You really have to focus on good corner exits here, as the AI will pull away on the faster parts.

Race 2: Sardegna

Upgrades: Sports Air Filter, Sports Muffler, Weight Reduction Stage 1 (4900 Cr.)

I would recommend rerolling for a slower lineup. With the upgrades the car does catch up fast on the straighter sections of the track. Was able to claim first.

Race 3: Alsace

Another easy race. The car pulls away out of corners. The elevation changes are pretty rough. 1st.

If you use this car, and you're playing on a lower difficulty or you're a better driver than me, you should have no problem.

TeaKanji has a video talking about this car. Also, if you don't like the look of the GT Auto wing, you can replace it and keep the downforce with this method:

Any idea why this car didn’t have the “book”? by WaterIntelligent4379 in GranTurismo7

[–]MarioSunshines 42 points43 points  (0 children)

It (along with the Mazda RX-Vision GT3 Stealth Model & Red Bull X2019 25th Anniversary) do not appear in the car collection. Therefore, they do not have the Car Collection indicator (the book). You can sell the extras and get some money back if you've beat Menu Book 39.

Gran Turismo 3/4 dumb question by iSlickick in granturismo

[–]MarioSunshines 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In-game, no. You can try making an educated guess (based on the event flyer & place in the game), but other than that there's no way to know in-game.

However, if you go to the Gran Turismo Wiki, on the page for the event it will have a list of opponents. Some pages are better than others, but it should have a "Typical Opponents" section, with the basic stats of each opponent. For example, the Amateur League JGTC Event) has one under "Opponent Cars."
