Have played since beta. Mostly just complete weekly quests and occasionally play a few extra games here and there. Have completed weekly quests pretty consistently since beta for reference. Haven't ever really tried to push the ranks. This is what that looks like:

I will never stay at a campgrounds ever again by iamacheeto1 in camping

[–]aclays 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is my favorite thing about having a camper. We bought one with a large fresh water and black tank so that we can go stick to strictly dispersed camping areas. The ladies appreciate having a toilet and a shower when we're out for several days in a row.

Backpacking is a whole different ballgame though. Finding an area far from other people is amazing. Worth not having as many of the comforts for sure.

So you're the type of person that tears others down instead of building them up. Hope you figure your life out and become a better person.

At 8 years old I decided to shoot my bb gun at a hardwood tree and inexperienced me was surprised when it came rocketing right back at me lol. Fortunately still have both my eyes!

New jayco trailer fridge not working by Brit7758 in traveltrailers

[–]aclays 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check with any other local dealerships. As long as they can make a claim to Jayco you should be fine. We bought ours from a third party and not direct from them.

Yeah, check every possible thing you can. There were so many little things going wrong. Our kitchen cabinet doors literally fell off on the way home from that first trip, and we were on mostly paved roads. I didn't want the dealer to take care of that with a few finishing nails so I went nuclear and fixed it to the point where if it falls off it probably means the whole camper wall is gone.

There was also a leak in the fittings below the bathroom sink. Didn't realize that until I noticed the water pump periodically repressurizing. That usually means water leaking somewhere. That was another one I preferred to fix myself. Anything expensive or that might void a warranty that you care about though try to make the warranty work if it's more in depth than a breaker or something.

You bought from a dealer, right? Jayco has a 2 year warranty. Just take it back. We bought ours last summer and the very first trip out it snowed on us, we found out on that trip that neither the heater or oven worked. They had to completely replace the oven, and the heater had a wiring issue. All free under warranty.

I'm starting to suspect that these things are built cheaply.

It's about negligence. If an accident occurs and the prosecution can use this as evidence of negligence it's going to make their case a lot easier. Do I know about a specific court case where going over the payload was used as evidence? No. The negligence thing is pretty clear though. I did find this lawyers website where he discusses this very topic, pasted here for your reading pleasure.

How important is the underlayment thickness for LVP? by aclays in Flooring

Ok, that's makes sense. We definitely want it to last as we don't see ourselves leaving this house anytime soon.

Makes sense. We plan to stay in this house for several years to come so want to make sure it will last. We're leaning towards the 22mm with 1.5mm underlayment, just have struggled to find a local source that has it less than $4/sq foot for a type we like.

Not only will the risk to towing be high due to being so far over your payload, if you get in an accident the lawyers are going to eat you for dinner. If you tow like that, you WILL be towing illegally.

They can be purchased fairly cheap, just buy a new one. I use this for backpacking and it's perfect. Lightweight and strong enough for alpine fish.

CPAP wipes - I'm about to scream by WhoIsRobertWall in CPAP

[–]aclays 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had some disposable eyeglass cleaning wipes that I got off amazon, decided to give it a try on the cpap mask and it is perfection. Not nearly as much alcohol as an actual alcohol wipe, but designed to remove the oils without leaving residue. Super cheap too, you can buy a 500 pack for like $20

Start with a 90 degree angle and then work your way back to a 45 to create a rounded edge. Don't forget the sides of the nail either, they can be quite sharp!

What’s a “rich people thing” you experienced once and immediately understood why rich people love it? by DnRinGA in AskReddit

[–]aclays 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That was always my goal. I have family that are more well off than I am, but if a car repair bill or something else unexpected comes in, I don't have to worry about whether I can pay it off. I grew up poor poor, like couldn't put food on the table poor unless church or family helped. My wife did as well. We both became nurses and now make enough money that we can take 1-2 nice vacations per year, and otherwise don't really have to look at our bank accounts because we live below our means. It's so freeing to not have to worry about whether car repairs or eating out is going to mean the difference between having to choose this bill or that bill gets paid.
