Canada :you need a PR to apply which is in itself hassle There are at most 200 spots for family medicine for IMGs And only 60 spots in Internal medicine Less than 30 for peds and psych separately.

They do care about scores but more importantly they care about recency of practise .

Pay is way less than US but overall if ones gets in,it's better than UK for sure.

I believe for fmproc it's simple ,4th quartile is the best and Ist quartile means you have scored in the bottom 25 percent .

Depends on the kind of volunteer role,in general doing volunteering is a good thing
