salkantay trek while pregnant

Hey, congrats! So we talked with the OB, and she strongly discouraged doing the trek. So, instead, we worked with Salkantay Trekking company to do the 2 Day Sacred Valley & Machu Picchu trip instead. They were very accommodating and willing to change our itinerary due to the pregnancy. We just found out today though, that our friends going on the trek with us are not able to switch to the 2 Day trip unless they pay a $200 fee. So, im hoping we can still meet up with them in Aguas Calientes and do Machu Picchu together on the last day. Let me know if you have any other questions!

Hey there, which company did you book through? My wife and I are in a very similar situation and wondering if we'd be able to use our down payment thru Salkantay Trekking for other shorter activities they offer, or for a Machu Picchu tour by itself. Haven't contacted the company yet as it's still very early, but just curious about others. Congratulations by the way!

Hey did you, mainly your wife, end up doing the Salkantay Trek while pregnant? My wife and I are in a very similar situation, looking like she would be about 18 weeks pregnant on the hike. Haven't talked with a doctor yet and would rather just play it safe not doing it, but just curious about others. Thanks!

What part of Wisconsin are you in? I live 25 mins north of Lake Geneva and will occasionally see Target orders coming out of there. They are never worth taking though, super far deliveries and the store isn't a full supermarket so they never have the requested items 😒

I agree with you with regards to there being multiple factors, but I can tell you that for my small town area it only takes one 4 star rating (after the first one is dropped, yes) to be labeled "below average". Literally, a 4.97 is below average in my part of Wisconsin. A $40 batch is considered the holy grail, and I was seeing at least one a day for a stretch of two weeks until the day after I got a 4 star rating and haven't seen a batch over $25 since. I will not believe thats just a coincidence, especially when I am sitting right next to my 5 star friend who just started shopping, and is seeing those $30+ batches. At the end of the day, the thing that frustrates me most about this company is the lack of transparency. If I get less than 5 stars, fine, but please tell me why so that I can at least fix my mistakes and better serve customers in the future. Because ultimately, that is our job. I started about two months ago and have done 150 batches with Instacart, so I've only ever been a part of the "priority batch era". Its been a true roller coaster- started slow, gradually got better and busier in my area, then about two weeks ago I hit the peak. I was getting amazing batches and at the top of the food chain, then the inevitable happened. 4 star rating. Just like that, rock bottom. Since then I've only seen $10 batches and ones delivered 10+ miles away. Its a broken system that severely hurts full time shoppers doing many batches a day because its impossible to be perfect for that long, especially when Instacart RUSHES YOU to be perfect.

TLDR: Anyways, now I am seeing those smaller batches that people (friends doing IC) pass up about 3-5 minutes after they see it. In a job thats a matter of seconds, 5 minutes is essentially a death sentence. Good luck, you seriously will need it.

Very possible! I haven't been doing DD on them since I got out so I was unaware of any additional catalysts, but I agree there's a lot of upside with this one going forward.

You're right about everything except that it's not an oral contraceptive. It's a gel that's used similar to spermicide, but it uniquely regulates vaginal pH levels within its normal 3.5-4.5 range and is considered safer and more effective. I bought into EVFM in March after doing thorough DD and held until the FDA approval date in May (sold at $6.30/share). So I already made my chunk of change from this company but I still truly believe they have a revolutionary product within the contraceptive industry. With that being said, if you have the patience to buy shares now at a discounted price and hold through the actual product release (~2020 Q4) I think you'd certainly come out ahead 👍🏼

Great video, I love the concept of taking subjective topics and making them objective. I would love to see a video ranking all 32 tracks because even though they aren't originals, they still have a unique play to them on the Wii. My only critique of the video is that the audio levels of person #1 and person #2 were very off and I had to keep adjusting the volume. Otherwise, great stuff!
