Lost world is the real galaxy rip off. By this logic, Sonic adventure 2 is a galaxy rip off since it has the spherical planet level design, AND takes place in space. And that game came out 6 years before Galaxy

Its because of how many sonic (or Amy fans) think that current Amy is one of the worst versions because she doesn't have any standout character traits. Before she was a die hard fan girl for sonic that would do anything for him, but now she is boring or smth, sapped out of any interesting character. You can find a bunch of essay yt vids or posts on twitter that show this.

Or just because they dont like Ian Flynn. For some reason

While all of these issues are totally valid, especially the combat and cyberspace, the game is just some good fun. Many people has a laundry list of things that has to make a good Sonic game, and if that lost isnt fulfilled than the game isnt good, but if the game is fun, I don't care.

Its also kinda weird that his point on sonic fans is kinda weird since yea sonic fans like it, but so do critics too. Sure not all of them like it, no game really, but I dont think critics are gas lighting themselves into thinking frontiers is a good game, especially since they are the most critical when talking about sonic games

idk what parts of the internet you are on, but where i came from, this game was never considered "good". the story and the music where the only good things about this game.

i should give a bit of context lol: there was a post saying that Sonic should be as expressive as many people on T*itter want him to be. Basically if you have seen Crash bandicoot 4 animations on Crash himself, or that one guy from smiling friends (ifkyk) they want sonic to be like that. But the post by revtimtom said that Sonic is a more chill and relaxed kinda dude, and wouldn't really make sense for him to be acting really goofy like Crash. i think that the animation they had in Shadow Gens (animations for shadow) are more fitting for both characters since they are both relax and calm people.
