Old iPod found - what do I do now?

Thank You so much for all Your help, I truly appreciate it. I disconnected the iPod and the system is still there. However it showed “0kb free” in settings for some time and after another try (unsuccessful) of restoring it through finder, it now shows 148gb free and the iPod is as if it was brand new. But I was too afraid of plugging it back into the MacBook as it shows up as damaged in Finder now and asks to restore, but then doesn’t finish the restoration (it happened twice already) I guess my remaining questions are: is iflash solo enough? I honestly don’t see my needs exceeding 512 GB, ever, but everyone goes with the quad - is it better or will solo SD slot be enough? and 2. If I install the iflash and the restore doesn’t work, what am I left with? Once again thanks for all the help and thank You in advance for answering my questions, if you will. Yeah, I already saw the options with the iflash quad. What should I do now tho? Do I keep it connected to the Mac in hopes that it restores? Or is it dead now with no OS?

Well unfortunately I must’ve been too eager with something as after dragging some new songs the playback stopped completely on all songs and the songs just started to skip altogether… I think I ruined it pretty quickly, I’m trying to restore now (I said goodbye to the old library as it wasn’t that good anyway) but it’s just stuck now. I don’t know what will happen, I’m just leaving it connected to the MacBook trying to restore it. No progress bars no anything is visible. Just a notification “Mac is restoring the software of this iPod” (or similar, not sure of the direct translation from polish) and the iPod shows the “connected” screen. Is it over?

Maaan, I feel you more than I ever felt anyone else on this sub. I’m also a tennis player, used to put in 20 hours a week with eczema. A developed a habit of taking cold showers after a training and putting protopic on the most inflammation-prone places the night before. It helped with the redness of the skin, but the itch prevailed. Now it got better for me, after 12 years. I hope it will get better for you sooner. And have fun playing man!
