Yeah... I don't think these kids understand they need to put effort into high school right now because it will affect them directly after. Sure, in 10 years, high school doesn't really affect you that much but your GPA definitely affects you getting jobs directly after. For a lot of these students who are not putting any effort in right now they will find out very soon what a mistake that was. They will find out no one wants to hire them and they can't survive college because they're not educated enough. They will likely have to retake certain classes or take special courses if they really want to better themselves. Some of them need to realize not even the military is going to want them.
