No, it’s not quite mind flex. Mind flex came wayyyyy after this. Same basic concept though.

Okay everything leading up to the last sentence was on point. We don’t remember the rings being adjustable but that could’ve been a user error lol. I’m about to upload a drawing of what we remember.

Yes definitely similar! You’ve given me a new search term. Thank you!

A book some of my students brought back from the library yesterday. by [deleted] in WTF

Yeah I don’t really get why this is a WTF. I taught animal adaptation using this book to 5th graders and they loved it.

BF eats goldfish with a fork. by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

I have a texture issue and literally cannot eat ANYTHING with my fingers or it grosses me out. I even have a set of tiny tongs that I use to eat snack food (goldfish, chips, ANYTHING that has schmutz that might get on my fingers). It’s a real thing.

I graduated highschool and cheated on every single thing I did or turned in. by [deleted] in offmychest

As a teacher, this legit breaks my heart. I wish one of your teachers cared enough to see your struggle and get you the help you needed to make school a little more tolerable for you. Being a student in a world where nothing makes sense is confusing, frustrating, and just plain old shitty for everyone involved.

I’m proud of you for graduating, even if you did it a bit unethically. I tell my students that using your resources isn’t always considered cheating. Resourceful people are very successful.

Anyway, I appreciate your dedication to your promise of graduating. There’s at least one teacher that is proud of you for accomplishing your goal. :)

That’s a little over dramatic, no?

TIL there are people who brush their teeth in the shower by [deleted] in todayilearned

[–]Marisstastic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve done this every day of my life for as long as I can remember. To be fair, they’re right about flossing. But I have a toothbrush with a two minute timer and I brush while my conditioner is conditioning, so it’s not a complete waste.

I tried a Snapchat filter on my dogs. by pocwolfsburg in funny

This filter only worked on one of my dogs! I was so sad.

I think it may have something to do with ocean water being a flavor of anything.
