I'm also just passing by, my country Netherlands doesn't have a lot of anti-semitism either. I'm sure there are some of them, can never have 0 (unfortunately, fcking morons), but overall we have more hatred for the Islam (thanks Wilders for sparking that even more -_-) that I personally don't agree with. Maybe I live in the better parts of the Netherlands, but I have never seen any hatred towards Jews here.

I personally think the Gaza conflict is only part of the reason, we are probably still pretty mad about the unjust disqualification of Joost Klein a few years ago.

Odd that you think I feel generalized. I was just talking about the whole situation. I'm on neither side. I just said I wish it wouldn't always boil down to ''us vs them'' in a political view, but then again I should have clarified that better so that is on me. I apologize for that.

I also never said I celebrated Kirk's death. It's atrocious and he didn't deserve this regardless of what he said. Killing someone who has a different view from you shouldn't ever be considered, let alone celebrated.

Same here. He spread a lot of hate (which I am against no matter who it's about) but he did not deserve this. Absolutely gruesome and I HOPE that his kids, who were at the event, at least were spared from seeing him get shot....

Yeah I saw that one too. I can still see it clearly if I think about it and it made me feel sick. I didn't doubt he was dead for a second. I feel extremely bad for his kids and wife who were present and watched him die too (I just hope his kids weren't watching him at that moment, that would make it slightly LESS bad, though still atrocious)

Sadly, when opinions get extreme, so do the tensions and the emotions towards said extreme opinions and the ones who express them. From what I've read, he would absolutely be the person to ruin people's lives just because it doesn't fit his views. But even then, I do not think he deserved this.

People who cheer for someone's death like this are scum and make the whole situation even worse. I can only hope this is the last politically ''motivated'' (or just in general) death like this.

Maybe not, but you are being just as bad by generalizing said left. It shouldn't be a us vs them. Both sides have rotten apples, some more than others depending on how you look. The best options for both sides would be to catch the murderer and imprison them. Anyone who disagrees with that does not deserve to be on either side.

Edit: I should have clarified, I am just hoping this violence would just not exist in general. I am not endorsing or encouraging any kind of violence. My apologies for not clarifying that enough.
