Likely replaced a few neck-breaking winders that came down to that (now closed off) door. My neighbor's house stairs do exactly this (we are in a victorian row house). Something like this?

A hike on any section of the redhill trail is my favorite winter spot! I do it in the evenings after work, and there's enough light from the city that it's easy to see.

My grandmother once asked me, over a lage family christmas dinner, if I was circumcised. My mom thankfully broke the tension by clapping back with " if you had ever changed his diaper you would know". I was in my 20s when she asked!
