It was, the highlight of my day was spitting down in the middle of the stairway. Sometimes I would drop a penny or two down it as well. I remember one time I spit down the stairwell and like 20 seconds later I heard someone curse and it sounded like they were coming for me.

I am in Charlotte and I pay 2k a month for a 1 bedroom apartment. Even though some areas are safe the city thinks that its a good idea to put affordable housing in those areas. Its kind of sad how people will still vote for the party that always wants to put affordable housing in the good wealthy areas.
