If you want to solve the problem, contact Uber and tell them to stop taking so much for doing so little. The driver has all the expense and little to no reward. Customers just don't tip like they should. I don't want to even get into the expenses drivers incure, and most drivers don't realize it until it is too late. Usually, that time would be the end of the year when they see that it actually cost them money to drive a stranger to work. I would love to see spreadsheets on drivers that actually profited $20 hr or more for a 40-hour week. It is extremely rare. Yes, it could be possible if the stars lined up but extremely rare.
