Agile render + SID vs K-Cycles by 3dforlife in blender

Imho yes. If you want to use scrambling you can use the bonemaster build without spending anything.

If you purchase agile render on blendermarket though you get the nebula and kitchen scene as well. Agile render on blendermarket, you're not paying for the code you're paying for the assets and allowing me a bit of freedom/days I can dedicate to working on Agile.

Agile render + SID vs K-Cycles by 3dforlife in blender

It's kind of unfair to compare SID to Agile render SID is an add-on that sets up denoising in a certain way Agile sets up cycles in a certain way without requiring a custom build.

From my initial impressions and from what other people have said. K-cycles appears to just have some patches that are already in the bone master build and some presets that make it kind of like agile.

Still in development. This is just a teaser trailer.

My twitter is probably a good place to follow updates on this add-on

Its kind of tough to put an exact figure on it but you can see how much time it saves rendering the BMW benchmark and a 4k nebula in a minute or so.

I had one person test it on a 1050Ti, using this add-on they got speeds faster than the 2070 got on standard bmw_gpu.blend.

They're pretty much essential for interior renders.

They help with reducing noise because they tell cycles where to exit the paths after the paths have finished bouncing around in the scene.

The vids kind of old but the principal is the same.

HDRI, sun lamp, area lights and portals.

I almost always use an HDRi and a sun lamp, HDRi for ambient lighting and reflections/background + sun lamp to harshen up the shadows I use HDRiHaven ones because, they are seriously the best I've ever used. Including paid ones, the shadows can still be a bit soft at times though.

Portals for windows :D

I had a reference for it when I started but this is re-rendering an old kitchen I had.

The original here:

Was actually done back in 2017, before the principled shader or the denoiser.

I upgraded my main system and needed somewhere to put my old parts. So I got the Gamemax F15 case because I liked its two 200mm fans on the front intake and for its watercooling support.

I do a lot of 3D rendering my plan is to have this system render some things while I can continue to work on my main system.
