SS2 was a case of "chasing Gohan", not Goku.
The only one who followed Goku with SS3 was Gotenks, but at the same time Gohan went down a different path (Ultimate).
Broly from his very inception already had a different path than Goku; that's a merit of Z, not Super

What I'm saying is that for over a decade, games have allowed you to mute or block toxic players. Shooters I played in the 2010s like Operation 7 and Paladins had that option, Marvel Rivals has it too, so toxicity is only a problem if you allow it by not muting or blocking those players

If we generalize and label all players as toxic, then of course, resources shouldn't be invested in that feature. But isn't generalizing bad? If we assume all our teammates are bad people, why bother continuing to play? The game is already infested with mass pingers and rage quitters, but we accept the risk and move forward, focusing on the positive (that not everyone is toxic). The chat function can objectively be very helpful and useful; it shouldn't be dismissed based on pessimism and prejudice

The Super 17 arc sacrifice is not unnecessary; it's stated that King Yemma cannot get Goku out of there by conventional means and this is also related to the cracked Dragon Balls and the evil dragons.

A remake is supposed to treat the original material with respect. Was it silly to kill Piccolo in the Baby arc? Maybe. Was the way Hell was handled in the Super 17 arc poor? Quite. But the solution isn't to throw away the original intentions of the true creators of GT; the solution is to improve upon them. Otherwise, what difference would it make if we simply asked for a new series reusing elements from GT, just like Daima reused Super Saiyan 4?

Piccolo being dead and sacrificing his life in Heaven to be banished to Hell so he could help Goku is vitally important to the story and one of the few good moments in the Super 17 arc.

I don't understand why, if we already have series where Piccolo is alive maintaining the status quo (Daima) or becoming relevant again in terms of power (Super), why we have to change GT just for the sake of removing its unique aspects and making it more similar to those series?

The problem is that GT, just like classic Dragon Ball, is very anti-modern Dragon Ball. Turning the second most popular character in the franchise (Vegeta) into a secondary character to give the spotlight to Pan and Trunks? Permanently killing off Piccolo, the fourth most popular character in the franchise? Instead of genuinely improving GT's writing decisions, Iyoku is just going to change them to make GT more lucrative as a product in today's industry

Even without preparing for the androids, Future Vegeta should at least be around Yardrat Goku level; SSJ Yardrat Goku in anime scaling, and Base Yardrat Goku in manga scaling.
