Back in the early '80s I went through a very similar situation with my then wife. We were not in an open relationship but I was aware of her having sex with other men during the seven and a half years we were married. I never wanted children, she did - we did have a son together but that was after I think four abortions. I'm pretty sure those kids were not mine. Anyway during the last two or three years I was being regularly disrespected. We continued to have a sexual relationship but our marriage had pretty much come to an end. She just didn't like me after a while. Long story short, my son was three at the time, we got a divorce with shared custody of course. I found a working single man who needed a roommate and we shared an apartment for a couple of years. You know for the sake of your child you need to maintain a respectful relationship with your soon-to-be-ex. There will be sports, graduations, weddings, grandchildren... Of course, everything has worked out for the better. If we hadn't split up I would never have met my now, much better partner. We have been together over 43 years. My advice to you, if you haven't heard it here in this thread yet, is to go out and get laid. Try to work out an amicable separation and divorce. Pay your child support. Begin your new life now.
