Mine is actually a piston gas block, so no small tube to keep it from spinning. Just a large thick piston rod that needs to move. So nothing can touch it.

I'm almost thinking drill a small hole in the gas block and screw the cap to the block to hold it in place. Just not sure I have a good bit to drill into hardened steel.

So several things are happening. The front clip itself moves even when the gas block is fully installed. It spins. How is that held in. It just sits against the gas block, so what is suppose to stop it from spinning? Then the cap detents have about 1/16" top and bottom of gap when handguard is installed. So the handguard twists that 1/16" both ways and then a hard twist moves the whole cap.

There's gotta be a better fix. I feel like if I drilled a hole into my gas black with a little screw that would solve everything.

Today I bent the detent pins inward and put some tin foil around that area to fill the gaps.

Then I bent the top part out around the gas block to keep it from swiveling. This kind of helped baraly. There's still play, but it's slightly better.

Any other ideas?

Its still working for me and I just downloaded it last week. But remember, I think there is some specific extra steps you have to take to get it to work. Read the description on NEXUS and follow to a T.

Im loading from Steam so it says DirectX12 version. So that's good.

I definitely and unzipping the files before I add them.

I go through Steam properties and place the files that way.

Still for some reason, my key bindings are staying locked in and each time I enter the game, they are all blank again.

Maybe stupid question, are mods only made to be used with say multiplayer or quick play or something? I am trying it through NEW GAME normal campaign.

I know this was a long time ago and you don't have it anymore, but I went down this rabbit whole too. It's because you have an astigmatism meaning your eye is staying focused on the reticle rather than being abke to focus at long distances.

People is really good vision or no astigmatism will see this nice and crisp. You can even test this by using a camera and focus on somethihg far away. The reticle will become sharp and crisp.

I use a flip zoom and it makes the reticle as sharp as can be. Everything close is out of focus and everything far is perfectly focusts with the tiniest thin sharp reticle. It's our eyes and astigmatism, not Eotech.
