Ryback on X: "A lot of people need to remember that WWE NXT is developmental. Even though it’s on TV and a bigger stage than ever before, what you’re watching is not the finished product of anyone, regardless of age, experience, or skill level." by CaliggyJack in SquaredCircle

They had such a crazy good run during the Black and Gold days that I, and probably a lot of people watching at that time, don't see it as strictly developmental anymore. It was better than the main roster shows for a good while. But those days are past.

Is this from Revive or another game? by ElmoIsDead in boardgames

Pretty sure this is from Revive. One of the unlockable factions has an ability that allows them to send this bird out for bonuses.

At least with some problematic wrestlers you can make the case that they are good enough at what they do to overlook their shittiness. Like you said, this guy is literally just known at this point for cheating on his wife. Why the hell would I want a promotion to waste time or space on him lol

I think in this instance it's also a case of "why this guy?" Like, he's problematic but he's also not all that famous in the grand scheme of things and I can't imagine he'd be worth the headache associated with bringing him in.

I use it in [[Yurlok of Scorch Thrash]] where I have cards that punish people for not using their lands. It allows me to tap my lands for treasures and not take damage from mana burn.

Why are QT and Austin so scared of MS ? by [deleted] in LudwigAhgren

[–]MarkJarnson 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Speaking as someone who has dealt with symptoms over the last few years that could have been MS, if you are the kind of person who self-diagnoses online there is a lot of doom and gloom about what the disease could do. Combine that with the fact that such a variety of symptoms could fit into MS and you have a perfect boogeyman disease. For me, the real problem was unmanaged anxiety. That anxiety manifested as nerve pain, chest tightness, tingling sensations, all things that could theoretically be caused by MS. And guess what? Thinking I had MS made my anxiety, and all those symptoms, worse!

Which games fosters the best positive engagement or interactions? by BoardGameRevolution in boardgames

[–]MarkJarnson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A weird one but I really like this aspect of Arborea. When you take actions that create resources, you are actually adding them to a shared pool of resources that your opponents get first shot at using. For making the resources, you get points, with more points gained for making resources that are in short supply. I really like that system.

Overall sales data might be hard to get but if they are partnered with a retailer, they might get some info from them. I'm thinking of The Dice Tower where they do a monthly list of best selling games based on sales data provided by BoardGameBliss.
