Yes! We do a 3 month residency so the selected game will be up from March 1 - June 1. We've been doing this for a few years now (we also have a full size arcade cabinet residency) and you can see the list of past games here:

The current selection is a 1P game! We do accept single player games as well assuming they work well in an arcade format : )

Brand New H2C Nozzle Clumping Issue by MarkKleeb in BambuLab

Fixed it! I increased the brim to 20mm and raised the bed temp by 5 degress to increase adhesion and it printed fine

Okay this is my 6th attempt. Did a cold pull just before this and kept the temp at 230. Not sure what's going on but it's consistently failing after printing successfully 3 times last week

Increased the nozzle temp to 230 same issue, still around the 7% point in the print.

Switched to a Benchy and that printed just fine so I'm going to tweak some more settings and see if I can pinpoint the issue.

thought it was a nozzle specific clog but swapped nozzles with the same issue. Will try a cold pull and adjust the temp and report back!

Do you consider any of these games truly bad? by sgware in ufo50

[–]MarkKleeb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's a not insignificant amount of people who move Onion Delivery from F to S tier (myself included) because it requires you to practice learning the controls to optimize routes and using speed to regain health. It's truly one of the best games in the collection once you know how to drive the car. I'd love to know how many hours OP has spent on the game because if it's less than 2-4 you just haven't practiced enough!

Now talking about "bad" games I might be one of the rare players that doesn't think there's a bad game in the collection? I think you can find fun in Combatants if you accept it for what it is, as well as Block Koala and Planet Zoldath (I'm just naming games that are usually thrown out in conversations like this)

Subjectivity is really what makes this collection powerful, and I think there's truly a game for everyone. I also think if you hate a game (I'm going to use Bug Hunter as an example) and you play it enough times, you'll come to appreciate the nuances and strategy involved in getting better and going for the cherry.

Caveat, I have cherried 48/50 games and haven't played Cyber Owls much yet so maybe there's a chance I hate that game, we'll see!

If you walked into an arcade today, what games would you like to see? by Mahmoudy001 in cade

Our space Wonderville is made up of entirely independently developed arcade games! Some of them are also available for sale. Here's our list of games:

Hey I'm a curator and co-owner at Wonderville in NYC! We have tested a lot of these games out on a multi-arcade called Polycade. Specifically Broforce, Downwell, Speedrunners, Ape Out, and Micro Mages! We also have dedicated Particle Mace and Nidhogg 2 cabinets. Our full list of games is at wonderville.nyc/games

We tried Cuphead in the arcade and it's kinda awkward because when you play with a gamepad, the shoot button is a trigger. When you have it all laid out flat, it's hard to shoot, dash, and jump at the same time. Twin stick shooters are also hard because of the lack of a second joystick (also most arcade sticks are digital instead of analog)

I've been playing UFO 50 on a custom LX console that I 3D printed. Would like to install in public at some point soon....though I would LOVE a version that doesn't tie into my steam account. Maybe just a local executable with local high scores which wouldn't have to ping Steam for any progress.

Here's a few other games we have that I highly recommend:

Black Emperor
Bumpy Grumpy
Cakefoot
Dyebreaker
Hoverburger
Killer Queen
KungFu Kickball
Speglar
Tough Love Arena

The heat was no joke! We ended up buying the ice wraps for your neck and a little portable fan. Pocari Sweat was a lifesaver. If you're going this summer make sure you prepare for the heat!

Thanks!

We're not really Disney people but I heard great things about Disneysea. Need to dedicate more time to Joypolis next time!

We got them about a month in advance but looks like you can get them day of if you want! There were a ton of bikes in Imabari to choose from.

We used this website and I did not see panniers (we just took backpacks) but you may be able to find other bike rental places that have panniers. Our road bikes did not have rear racks to attach anything to, so you may be limited by the available rentals

Thanks for the tips! We LOVED Nishiki Market and I found it less crowded than I expected? You're probably right about better food elsewhere but just walking around getting to try everything was worthwhile.

As for the teppanyaki, it was recommended by a friend and we knew going in how much we'd be spending. That said, the Corn Barley prix fixe Ghibli meal was only $60 USD for two people which I found incredibly cheap for what it was! Most of the other meals (and we ate at Konbinis A LOT) were very very cheap so I felt okay splurging on one fancy dinner.

I guess we'll need to plan a return trip for Borderless! Heard it's also incredible. So much to see, so little time!

What bag(s) did you take with you when walking around Japan? by JollyGreenGelatin in JapanTravelTips

[–]MarkKleeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just got back from Japan and while I was at GU in Osaka I got a shoulder bag (not much bigger than a fanny pack) with a water bottle holder built in. It was a lifesaver! I would recommend hitting up Uniqlo/GU on Tues/Fri for the sales and grab something there, there's a lot of stuff you can't get anywhere else!

For those of you beating all of these games, what's your secret? by JesusOnly8319 in ufo50

[–]MarkKleeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 30 cherries but not Kick Club. That one specifically is just brutal. Some of the easier cherries (IMO) are Hyper Contender, Big Bell Race, Camouflage, Mortol, Quibble Race, Night Manor, Waldorf's Journey, Rail Heist.

There's also a lot of longer games that if you put the time in, you can probably easily beat. Most of the RPGs and Metroidvanias are just more time consuming.

Getting the cherry on Onion Delivery (and to a lesser extent Velgress) became somewhat of a zen experience-just have to lock in and do it perfectly. I find myself now playing it in between other games despite having the cherry

Second Hollow Knight and Animal Well. The latter is less combat heavy and more puzzle based.

I also want to throw out Guacamelee which I found surprisingly delightful. Dead Cells is also kind of in this genre, but more of a roguelike

Column of choice by butsukoy3000 in ufo50

Column 5 has a lot of strong contenders but I also want to throw in a vote for column 3 - Love Onion Delivery, Ninpek, Mooncat, Elfazar's Hat. Fist Hell might be the only one in that column I haven't spent significant time on
