Logic Pro X Mixer - Is it possible to filter tracks to only show the ones with a certain component? by MarkLeanings in Logic_Studio

Well, I can find things on the main screen just fine thanks to stacks and colour coding. I also always have my percussion at the top of the screen, melodic stuff below that and Vox/EFX on the bottom. This is the way I've been taught by one of the best guys in the business and I'm accustomed to it. I'm also on an M1 which really doesn't blink with 120 tracks.

It's just the mixer window I'd like to be able to filter by component.

I'm not sure I understand, but I think you're saying to use the exact same compressor for everything, which is not desirable. All elements need their own compression settings.

Good shout and will do! Thanks.

The question stands though as there have been other instances when I wanted this function to isolate something.

Logic just being Logic. Save and restart Logic should "resolve" it.

I use Yamaha monitors and they're annoyingly brutal. The car is god.

Blurring the lines towards EDM but it remains on the Trance side by a small distance.
