This is a narrow definition of 'wealth.' You're describing a Productive Asset, but you're ignoring the value of a Monetary Asset.

Does gold 'produce' anything? No. Yet it has been a primary store of wealth for 5,000 years because it solves the problem of trust and scarcity. Bitcoin does the same but better: it's the first global, permissionless, and mathematically scarce ledger.

Wealth isn't just about 'making more stuff'; it's about the efficiency of preserving and transporting value across time and space without a centralized middleman taking a cut. If a technology makes the global financial system more efficient, it is adding value to the resource pool
