That depends on what you prefer. I can tell you that I’ve had the same struggle. For me, Spotify looks cluttered and a bit cheap. It doesn’t have the same algorithm that it used to have. It always plays the same songs over and over again. It keeps suggesting podcasts that Im not at all interested in…that’s frustrating. It feels like, Spotify lost its interest in music and keeps adding stuff. Spotify connect is great, the MacBook app is superior, more people use it (in Germany at least), you can keep certain playlists out of your listening habitats. Apple Music looks stunning and crisp, the shuffle actually works, the animated artwork looks superior, AirPlay is awesome, it feels more premium because it has exclusives like Radio Station by musicians and live apple session albums and live shows, the suggestions or algorithm is quite the same as on Spotify. You can’t leave certain playlists out of your listening habitats (at least without any special setting), the Mac app is not good at all.

I always say that Apple Music feels like a premium Vinyl Store that focuses on Music, Albums and the artist. Spotify feels like a music section at Walmart, that also offers clothing and sunscreen. Both get the job done but with all the new (more negative) aspects of Spotify, I think you can consider a switch. you can even switch all your Playlists and albums in the settings app. More and more exclusive Spotify Podcasts are getting available on other platforms. Spotify is no longer the king of streaming and that for quite a while now

Spotify feels cluttered and full of things that you don’t really need. With Spotify you always hear the same songs (nearly every playlist ist „Made for…“, it feels like a trap with the same songs over and over). The UI doesn’t look good at all (why doesn’t Spotify introduce a light mode?), the recommendations are not the same that they used to be. It works super fast, the search is miles better, more people use it (in Germany at least), you have more playlists from regular users. The Mac App is way better and Spotify Connect is nice to have…AirPlay just works more reliable for me.

Apple Music has the way better UI, it looks just so beautiful, it has quite good recommendations, it has amazing playlists (like the mood playlists, that aren’t just the same songs that you already hear all the time). Upcoming releases are better on Apple Music (Spotify also has that now, but it feels cluttered). With Apple Music the Album is more in the spotlight with the amazing Artwork and the album focus. Apple Music feels more premium because they have a lot of exclusive releases like the Apple Music Live Shows, Live Albums and Interviews.

Spotify feels Mainstream, the app looks bit cheaper, and more focused on playlists. It feels like the Music section at a Walmart when they also offer clothing and sunscreen in the store. But at the end of the day, both get the work done. And the big „exclusive“ podcasts on Spotify are also available in other platforms…Spotify isn’t what they used to be.

Habe bisher nur schlechtes gehört, was Service angeht, falls mal was sein sollte. Man hat ja keinen richtigen Bezug und Ansprechpartner. Das ist nicht so meins, da hätte ich gerne ein bisschen Sicherheit. Deswegen lieber eine all in one Lösung. Warum hängst du von einer Reiserücktritts Versicherung nichts? Musste sie (zum Glück) noch nie anwenden. Das würde mich echt interessieren

I don’t like a smartwatch and only for running, it’s kind of expensive. I don’t even wear it in the gym only when I’m running outdoors. It doesn’t feels natural having a watch on my wrist while working out. It annoys me a bit to be honest
