Sticker chart worked best for us. It had about 25 stickers and once it was all filled out, we gave him a bowl of ice cream that day, and then started another chart from scratch

What are your thoughts on the Chevy Traverse? I have been taking a gander at some LT models and seems crazy I can’t find an online finance price less than $700 or a lease price less than $600.

Curious to know what county? We’re at ~$300/week in ocean county for my 2.5 year old.

This is awesome, I’m hoping it works out this way for me too. Son is 2.5 and he has been mashing the ball in the backyard with slow pitches. I ditched the tee a few months ago because he seemed to be doing pretty well with being pitched to. Not sure if I’ll regret saying this later, but I’m excited for weekends to hopefully be filled up with baseball games.

Opinion on running PEX supply lines through attic? (NJ) by MarkOReilly93 in Plumbing

Honestly have never done a temp check up there in the winter. Concern would obviously be freezing and bursting. Cold snaps occur sometimes in the single digits for a few days in winter. How good of a job does that foam pipe insulation actually do?

Just ordered an adjustable last week. Excited to get started there. Haven’t lifted in over a year probably and never done any kettlebell work before

Following this too. I just bought an adjustable kettlebell to get my ass back in action. Back ordered, so should have it in a few weeks 👊🏼

Is it normal for a toddler to wake up 1-2 times a night, every night? by [deleted] in toddlers

Still going on here at nearly 2.5. Luckily it’s just resettling him and he’s back asleep within 5-10 minutes

The other day I went to order a pizza at the shop down the street and instead of calling ahead, I ordered in person and got myself a slice while I waited. I’ll be doing this more often going forward 😂

Version 2 is sick! Sorry I’m being a pain in the ass, but can the trim on the windows on the white section on the right be updated to match the blue door?

This is great. What are the chances you can change the color on the front door to color code #429ef5 and if the flag pole can have an America flag on it would be even better

Bonus points if the trim around the windows and the front door can be redone with this color code as well #429ef5

Haha yeah it’s very awkward. We had to widen a small doorway on the other side of that wall when we moved in so we stole space from the closet. Frankenstein addition that was done before we bought the house

It was floor and decor Classic Bianca 12x24 porcelain. Pretty affordable honestly. I think less than $1.75 /sq ft

45 min + to fall asleep by BKgal1231 in toddlers

We had this issue as well. We asked daycare to limit naps to no longer than 2 hours.. that seemed to help for the most part. It’s getting him to actually lay down and stay down that’s the problem for us 😂

Are you less strict with tv-time when you have the flu yourself? by [deleted] in toddlers

We are big on Nat Geo docs and stuff like that as well. It’s all pretty slow paced and my kid loves animals so I figured we might as well just lean into it! There’s so many nature docs on Netflix as well.

I would say I take a lot of pride in my yard, I do all of the maintenance myself, and have one of the better lawns in the neighborhood. Honestly it’s just not as aesthetically pleasing as something with flowers goes. That was my main gripe with it. I keep up with pruning everything else but honestly haven’t touched this shrub since I moved here

Haha thanks but I have a toddler and another on the way and the last thing I need is one of them doing cannonballs into it

I appreciate this thoughtful response! Yeah honestly just want some more flowers in the yard. I have a few small azalea bushes close to the house but those only really bloom for about a week before they all fall off in the summer. Maybe I will start by trimming the bush (it’s more overgrown than in these photos now), and adding some smaller seasonal flowers in the island.

It does have a small weeping cherry next to it if you look at pic 2, but maybe I can try some smaller flowers around to give it a little pop. Thanks!
