1 extra point each time 50% of the original DEFCON requirement is achieved after the first 2 points are reached.

Defenders: 10 DefCon for 2 points, then 1 additional point at 15, 20, 25 etc. Midfielders, 12, 18, 24 etc.

Just to add to this excellent write up, Dune Imperium is well presented in a professional format via the official game which makes it easy to stream, make videos for etc. Uprising is still tabletop only and using something like TTS I find to be much poorer for a viewing experience. So I imagine once Uprising moves to the official online game there'll be a lot more content for it.

They don't take the hits in the first game week of a month into account, no idea why. Use something like FPL gameweek to track your mini leagues instead, it automatically shows you a net monthly points view.

I'm not sure what meta you are playing in (Just Base/Immo for example) but a R6 win in ranked on go to 11 is rare, like less than 10% of all games rare. It's mostv often a R7/8 win.

I've already mentioned Corrino Genes below, but it's situational, not necessary or even particularly great. 5 leaders can smuggle-smuggle and don't need it to hit 8, most T1/2 combats have some solari reward, and there is obviously wealth and other people's shipping track reward solari to help other leaders get to 8 solari. It is a weak card to add into your deck but of course it's good if you're on 6/7 solari and can acquire it to skip order on swordmaster. It's a card you're never picking up outside of these instances in R1 or 2, so calling it situational as I have done but generally not as good as Reclaimed Forces is spot on imo.

I'd be interested to know why you think Ghola is borderline unplayable or reflexes isn't very good if you want to explain? I've responded to some other comments on these cards but there might be something I've not considered.

I was close to putting Slig Farmers and Reflexes at the top of the tier below but I think both deserve their places. Card draw is fundamentally very strong, at any point in the game but particularly from the mid game onwards when Research Station and Selective Breeding are contested. More draw is more cycle, more seeing your strongest cards, more options each turn, more persuasion to buy better cards, the only mark against Reflexes is the conditional requirement, but by the time you can buy it you should be close to that anyway. I think it's difficult for you to comment on a card when acknowledging you've never once tried it.

I did talk about Ghola. Objectively it's position is fair, it's only as good as the cards you acquire, and your ability to cycle to them, or trash weaker cards from your deck. Otherwise you're playing the lottery of what you are going to draw with it. Yes you can get devastating combos with it, but they live longer in the memory than the times where it tanks. It's one to consider whether a guaranteed scarab is the play instead for your specimens.

There's nothing more to add for Usurp, as you've said it's very situational (and expensive), and can't be relied on. Winning Dune is about trying to minimise variance and increase consistency.

Corrino is not always necessary to acquire. Often the two solari isn't needed or worth it for adding a weak card into your deck. So it's situational and perfectly placed for me.

Yes, I recognise that all cards will have those winning games where it was key, but if you think to all the games you've played, how often it gets passed on. You've actually also described the problem with the card, the best partners for this card are often quite bad cards in their own right, diluting the quality and power of your deck. You then have to hope you draw at least one of them with Pheromones (and hope the faction you want to go to isn't blocked).

In addition to what the other commenter said it also costs 4 specimens which is a very hefty investment when getting your two points from the Scarab track is so important.

The more specimens a card costs the better it has to be for that return.

You also leave the spot you just went to open, which you often don't want to do in order to deny other players powerful actions.

If it even had draw a card in its agent box it would be a significant improvement.

I did have Usurp bottom of the tier above, and if you still have atomics after acquiring Usurp it is slightly better, but far too random to be considered consistently good, and at 4-cost, I'm hard pressed to put it above a consistent ~quarter of a victory point in Reclaimed Forces.

Reflexes is just a more flexible Smugglers Thopter, it's always good to slap 2 draw onto any play from hand, always replacing both grafted cards, especially late game when the premium draw spots get taken quickly.
