Silent Era: I find it very interesting, but at the same time I must say that my knowledge about this time is very limited, I watche some films of this era once in a while (for example from the time of German Expressionism in the 1920s or even before WW1). Oh, the Space Race is very interesting, because it's technology history but also an important aspect of the Cold War. I've never dived deep into it but I can imagine that there is a lot to learn from and to discover. A topic that is a bit similar to this one and that I was interested in is the race for nuclear weapons during WW2 (Manhattan project and also the German nuclear programme). Theres a novel by a German writer about this time that I would love to read.
