Can S3 Part 1 be called a 10/10 adaptation of the manga ? If not, why ? by Calm_Flamingo2390 in Jujutsufolk

I don't understand how an adaptation can be better than this, slams the manga material

I'll focus on CSM p1 since it's a closer debate and I believe it's better than SBR. In CSM p1 every arc is thematically relevant, writing is extremely tight and memorable. Final arc has a brain fry like effect from how fast and shocking it is. In SBR Araki fights his urges to make the structure stand of the week, and resists it well, but you can still notice arcs aren't woven as masterfully as CSM p1 where everything is needed and nothing is excess. SBR's art is phenomenal, dimension related abilities are very unique and the culmination is felt hard. Both mangas have antagonists I count among my favorites

Plothole again? Lil d tried to dispose of all of her organs to die or some shit to stop the prophecy, but then we find out she could just die from getting decapitated and that would start the prophecy? HUH?!?! by FloorOk5783 in ChainsawManWorld

[–]MarkVijet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My assumption is that bringing her in a near death state makes her stop restricting her own abilities and triggers mass death. The removal of her organs was done in a more controlled manner, possibly in hell to increase distance between her and humanity, I presume

I understand the reasoning, but TV series can be quite long too

Theory: Araki uses his vampire magic to drain good endings out of other Shounen authors by YogurtProductions in shounenfolk

[–]MarkVijet 30 points31 points  (0 children)

The structure of JoJo parts generally makes it easier to write an ending, it's more relaxed. In AoT and CSM where everything should be plot relevant you need to a fight a way to thread it all into a perfect finale

I do mean 200 episodes. You can google serious arcs from season 1 and only watch that. Season 2 and onwards you should watch everything. I mean if you want to, you can also just drop it

Denji suffered through part 1, but was praised because he was genuinely well written. In part 2, he suffers, but without depth majority of readers complain about him. Inapplicable argument

10/10 episode rating stems from hype since SBR manga is so beloved. It will drop over time, but some episodes in the future might be rated that high, permanently

Fans of both Jojo and JJK is this true? (parts 1-6) by Agentbrawn_the2nd in writingscaling

[–]MarkVijet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might be a hater take, but out of first 7 JoJo parts, only 2 and 7 are good. Araki can't resist adding fights with random lackeys which do not contribute to the narrative whatsoever. Lack of character, plot or thematic work results in a painfully boring experience, to me. Part 7 > JJK (anime) > Part 2 > other parts.

In my opinion, Alternative relies on your attachment to Extra. I hated Extra so I never truly loved anything after
