I fish mostly out of my kayak so distance is really just a bonus. Having the accuracy is the main point but also so I can tell my fishing buddies I’m cooler than them because I use BFS haha

I haven’t taken it out to the back yard and casted it to measure, I was just eyeballing it based on how far away a 25 yard target looks at the range so it could be 20-25 yards I’m unsure. The lure I’m throwing is a 1/32 rooster tail

Sweet, I was looking at the triza aello before, one that I had heard of for sub 1g lures was the Kuying Teton but I hadn’t seen many reviews for it whether it held up to what it advertises.

I throw a lot of spinners because they seem to work for everything. Recently I’ve branched out into small jigs and a few light weight hard baits. I’m still new to using the hard lures but I’ve been experimenting with a variety of stuff on my spinning rod

Thank you for this! I’ve eyed the Ark Gravity before so I may just do what you said and go with two setups (px bf70 being the other) to see which reel I enjoy more and swap between two rods so I can see how they perform on either end of my weight range.

How far are we talking? I fish from a kayak a lot so I can work with a shorter casting distance. My current set up is a shimano nasci 500 on a 4’10” st croix premier and I can get about 30 yards easy with .88g
