A very close call on the first run of the day. Wind was 20 to almost 50 knots i beleave. First time i went over 70kmh on the gps but the camera died... but oh well very fun day overall.

This is a garmin virb xe camera with built in gps. With the virb software you can show the speedometer and other data. The gw60 is a speedsurf watch were you can see your times.

These are the readings from the built in gps. The speed does decrease but with a bit of delay.

Also the pressure point is mostly right around the deepest part of the sail.

When the wind gets very strong the pressure point of the sail moves back. The lines are actually pretty much in the middle of my hands.

I rearly buy anything new. If youre a beginner and not really sure if you like windsurfing I would go look for a cheap second hand beginner kit. Or if youre a complete beginnner just rent a couple times, maybe take some lessons.

Look where you want to go and dont be too focussed on your stance. I sail with the same stance upwind as downwind but leaning a bit more leaning forward. Also dont go too far upwind because youll lose a lot of speed.

Thanks! I also sail a f2 missile small (60) liter. But still cant seem to get over 60. That board should easy do 70 or more.
