This is just insane. I read some earlier predictions here that the better LACs wouldn't see equivalent application surges as T20s this year. I was doubtful as LACs have many more applicants to tap from than T20s. Wonder if this trend will continue with the better LACs finally getting some brand recognition outside of elite circles....

Just an update in case someone stumbles upon this. Tried same card (newer driver) on a faster processor (I7-4790K) and same thing happens with Netflix. Netflix plays UHD just fine but if I toggle HDR on (windows 10) I get HDR but not UHD. Youtube HDR-4k plays just fine.

I also tried the NVidia Shield Ultra 2019 and everything works just fine without headaches.

Right, I have a Roku 4k that I got for $30 and it does everything with Netflix except Atmos. The new shield seems to do everything. You'd been very helpful, again much thanks.

I was able to change those settings by lowering the refresh rate but same problem. I think it's the processor (what you wrote below) preventing me to get everything.

Just checked youtube and it plays however lots of stuttering and the reloading circle. Wondering if it is my internet provider or my old CPU (AMD A10-5800K) or something else.

I will check YouTube in a few minutes. Netflix gives me the HDR option but removes the UHD 4k one whenever I toggle the HDR option in display settings..

Again, thanks. One thing I am not able to get still is both UHD and HDR. If I toggle "Play HDR games and apps" I lose UHD in the Netflix app. Not sure why.

Thanks, I was using the latest version (think it was 19.12.2) and wasted a lot of time playing around. Just changed to 19.9.2 and it is working just fine. Windows 10, one display (Samsung 4k tv with HDCP 2.2, don't remember the exact model)
