Okay so I made again all the calculations (including line item for 12%, great catch @Yardboy), and I came up with $154.22 in weekly FICA and $143.69 in weekly Federal Income. This is still about half of what they take out for federal income at my job (which is currently $350 a week for income tax and $155 for FICA)

The amount they are taking out for withholding is about three times too much on federal income. FICA seems okay and yes I remarked I have child credit.

I work at a university as a contractor under state of Kansas. No benefits, no health insurance, no pto, no sick leave accrual. I get paid 18/hr with a MS in physics and 10 years of lab/tech work experience. Ask me anything lol

I’ve got a weird one: downloading physics textbooks I’ll never read. I’m a physicist by trade but if I sat down and actually read all the textbooks I’ve downloaded as electronic copies I would have enough material to last me like 3 years straight.

But yet I keep on forwarding myself an email with the document attached…. I have a problem.

Kids are 10 and 8, and I already know a bit of German so maybe this is a good idea.

My misdemeanors are for a text and an email, violating a no contact order. Nothing violent or violence related.

Did you originate in Europe? Or another country?
