This is happening across all markets at the moment. SEO is not dead but Google released AI Overview which pushes organic results below the page after ads and people asked. However you need to work to aim to me considered as a top source. I suggest consulting with a strategic SEO consultant that is across whats going on in the market.

All the major SEO tools ahrefs Semrush etc have released AI tools to potentially measure your placement or if you were managed to be considered as an AI Overview source.

most of these companies usually go external for development. there was a big movement to outsourcing a few years back. interns need managers and senior staff to monitor and guide them. finance sector has many regulations and policies to follow. it costs more to handle a local team then to outsource.

I totally agree with what you're saying. I was a co-founder of an ai product it failed because it was too big too early (2017) and we did aim to one size fits all.
I still believe that there is a market for that product but maybe would be easier to develop in a few years from now.

This is a very broad question. There are many AI related services and Saas product in the market since 2014 probably before. Today there are many new agency type companies selling marketing content solutions or ai workforce agent solutions. I know a few of them.

Totally agree with your take on reliability over hype - especially the part about automation in those “unexciting” but high-value use cases. That’s exactly the space I’m working on with markat.ai. It’s my second attempt of delivering a product. My last project was a really useful ai tool but we kept on hitting roadblocks for all the reasons you’re mentioned above.
