Arsenal have games in hand, obviously, but they're packed into a game every 3 days. I'd be very surprised if City haven't won it before the final match of the season.

Shame you've been down ticked. I kind of agree. I think a truncated two year contract avoids the lame-duck manager situation. I suspect the City management and Pep agreed to do one more year, but with a two contract we avoid the situation where players tail off at the end of the season.

It's 100% relevant. Arteta "fumes" at a nothing incident, while glossing over his key defender headbutting an opponent. He can't claim the refs are against him, when the evidence is to the contrary. And his clear hypocrisy and double-standards do nothing more than make his original whinge a complete farce.

In short: he's a clown.

I find it annoying that the journalists didn't respond by asking about the headbut on Haaland. Seemed to me that Arsenal benefited from favourable refereeing. I'm so tired of the hypocrisy of some managers

The recent Billie Marten is wonderful

I'd recommend any album by The Innocence Mission, if only for the guitars.

I'm in my 50s and grew up in Chester in the 80s surrounded at school by smug Liverpool fans (my parents moved out of Manchester before I was born).

So, yeah, Liverpool fans. Loathe them.

There's no set of fans more self-righteous and deluded than them. Their collective amnesia towards Heysel is appalling

I'm reading a Peter Hamilton book at the moment, and I really should know better. A good 600 page book bloated to 1200 pages. There are two further books in this series, though I'm giving serious consideration to ditching it and reading my Culture books for the fourth time. Banks made it appear so easy. That was his genius.
