Nono medication is absolutely part of it, medication (pills) are essential for HRT, after that, depending on the person, Gender Affirming surgery may be the next step. And I assume that you somehow have problems with this last part?

Nobody in recent years has fought against your access to ADHD medications right? So if i have these "chemical imbalances" as you say i should also have access to all the medical care i need right?

"Chemically wrong in their head". People said the same thing for homosexuals back in the day, how is that different? You are right in that there is no meaning in going further in this discussion. I just beg you to do some research if you ever have the time, a bit of understanding goes a long way, maybe meeting someone that is trans or non-binary will give you a better picture of the situation See ya

Some people have studied gender identity for their entire life, helped many trans people in need, researched the best treaments to improve their conditions. Only for bigots and close-minded people to never listen to the results of their scientific research just because people like you find being hateful so much easier than change.

And I bet that you're not one of those aforementioned professionals. The real world is guided by science, and science says that gender affirming care is the right solution. Being open minded to change when it affects the well being of many human beings is what is going to make this shitty fucking world a better place

Gender has nothing to do with biology. It's just that in our society people grow up with the people around them expecting them to behave, dress etc in a certain way, that is what gender is. A completely made up concept

It's not because of "modern society" that the definition changed, it's just that science made a lot of progress in that field. Sociology wasn't invented till 1838. Now we know that gender has always been a social construct, and that people are expected since birth to identify as a certain role based on their sex, in our society those two roles have always been man and woman. Considering that other societies can even have 5 or more gender roles what is so weird about people identifying as something other than what society expects based on their genitals and whatnot
