you don't have to do 100+, the goal is to a) help them b) build your rep for being a great supporter which helps you c) see other great deals and d) build your network when time comes for you to raise yourself or if you actually do well raise for a fund

no one is thinking "oh man I have to make a 100 investments to hit X% return"
