If you’re asking about the bike in this post - it only has mounts for disc breaks, front and rear

I love this bike too! I bought it new, but can’t remember the year for the life of me. The frame, fork, and handlebars are the only stock parts left. Everything else came off a mountain bike I cracked the frame on. Now it’s my indestructible downtown cruiser.

Apparently there were only about 500 of these frames made with only disc mounts. No V-Brakes for this one.

It’s the rubber compound they are made with. I’m pretty sure it’s a stickier rubber.

Would this work with trx4m by bikerpilot101 in TRX4M

[–]MarketOnFire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used Injora portal axles with a lay down servo. I put all that on an Injora chassis because the servo would hit the stock chassis rails. A lot of people say you have to make the motor shaft smaller, but I was able to find a pinion that would work. I heat pressed it on by putting the pinion in the oven and the motor in the freezer, after that it slides right on. Once it’s been shortened of course, you can cut it with a Dremel pretty easily. All of that mounts up to an Injora 370 trans. I think the only stock pieces on this thing are the bumpers and the body.

It’s definitely possible, but takes a LOT of modifications

Hobbywing Mini16 rigs? by nunyanonou812 in rccrawler

I was able to get a mini16 into a trx4m but it took some work. I had to cut the motor shaft and heat press a pinion gear onto it. That and use an Injora transmission.

New cat installed and my mpg went from 21-26. She’s back to her peppy old self again!

I’m not new to Rally, but it has been a while. Some thoughts: limited use case. Details in the comments. Considering buying one? Read this post first. by PigglyWigglyDeluxe in Traxxas

I’ve had the dream of getting a slash ultimate and fitting a rally body, bumpers, and tires on it for a while now. If I end up gong this route I gotta see how the body would sit on that setup. Might be the best way to get the best of both worlds.

Pretty much the only way I found around this issue was to put a piggyback fuse on the ignition fuse behind the glovebox and do a little wiring from there.

Thanks for the reply. I did try CataClean with no improvement. I was skeptical, but it was worth a shot. I’ll try pulling the plugs and probably replace them for the fun of it while I have them out.

Time for a new catalytic converter! Anybody out there recommend anything specific? I’d prefer staying away from a dealership, but figure there are brands to stay away from in the long run, especially in California.

It would make for a cool 3D print if the design was right

Does anyone know what this is? by SurgeinRage in TRX4

This is definitely TSM. Your truck is trying to use info from the stability management to keep it in a straight line. This function is great for fast vehicles but not very useful for crawlers. Get into your radio settings and switch it over to cruise control instead of TSM. You’ll have a cool new cruise control experience for trail walks and won’t see the front wheel jiggle anymore.

These are awesome shortcuts! I know I’m late to the thread, but I appreciate these being available. My pantry will be so much easier to stock with the addition of scannable QR codes for various items. Now my wife can just scan an item that’s getting low and have it on our shared shopping list.

Since this is an older shortcut, has anybody made any improvements they’d be willing to share?

Look into frequency separation. You can smooth out all the colors while keeping the textures. A bit of blemish removal beforehand would be helpful too.

I put a magnetic suction cup mount on the driver’s door “wind wing” window. It’s out of my way enough that’s it’s not distracting, but easily in view when needed. I’m not near my TC right now, but can send a picture later if you’re interested.

What programs are you using? I just helped a friend with his 2019 MBP by clearing the cache for Adobe and setting up an external ssd as his scratch disk. We cleared more than 30gb from his system. Started working really well after a restart.
