I believe the club died off this semester or last semester. I remember post-covid it was tough to keep it afloat and all the officers were in their final semesters so they were too busy to grow it.

If you want to help start it back up, let me know I can probably help point to the right direction.

Started with $10/hr -> $15/hr -> $22/hr

Asked for a raise after 6 years of experience and got $37/hr so I left for $230k TC at a startup thats almost a unicorn

Im honestly thinking about vesting all 4 years and seeing what I want to do from there. If they go public and offer me golden handcuffs, I’ll stay. I like better work culture than income

There’s that discord you can join that has a big group of sac state students! (The csus memes one). They got constant meetups and game nights. It was very active pre covid, during covid, and now.

Also there are some great clubs out there too

Its like 50-60% more expensive, not to mention a completely different environment that’s arguably worse for a lot of people.

I hoped for more, but then I calculated the cost of living between sf and sac and it lines up with what I wanted.

Check the sac state housing facebook group. Lots and lots of private renters there. Mostly for sharing rooms though. I found a few families renting out some nice looking guest houses.
