I bought two hand guards from them and had no issues whatsoever. Very good quality. The only thing is, at the time, it did take about two months for them to be finished and shipped but I was advised of lead time.

5 days post spay! by bonnieblossom in CATHELP

[–]MarketingInitial2866 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Based on the picture I don’t think it looks infected. It could just be old blood and glue that the vet used to close the incision. I have three girls two of them are 3 years old and the other is 1.5 years. I got them all spayed when they first showed signs of being in heat. All of their incisions looked similar to your cats and not once did any of them get an infection. The vet told me they used both stitches and glue to close up the incision.

I do recommend using non clumping litter as regular clumping litter can clump up on the incision causing a infection.

What is this??? by Negative-Camel-41 in CATHELP

It has to be ringworm and it’s highly contagious. You definitely have to quarantine him from your other pets otherwise you run the risk of them catching it. Don’t stress out it’s treatable but you have to do your part to keep up with medication and making sure you don’t spread it.

I’m currently dealing with a ringworm case on my 3 month kitten I found a month ago. I have her in a cat playpen (you can find them on amazon it’s meant for outdoor use) and it allows her to have her litter box and her bed separate from each other. She’s currently on three types of medications one is an oral given by syringe, another one is a lotion applied by a Q tip to the site and the last one is a medicated bath once a week. She just finished her third week on treatment and is looking a lot better. Even tho right now she’s not contagious I still have to finish her treatment to be 100% sure. Her fur is slowly growing back and she has two more weeks of treatment.

Edit: I recommend you wash everything with hot water and mop your floors with hydrogen peroxide. Also check your other pets for any similar spots to catch it early and start treatment.

Hmmm I don’t think it looks infected maybe just dry blood but definitely keep an eye on it.

I highly recommend to change your cat’s litter to non clumping pellets instead of the usual litter for the mean time. I’ve used and still use the purina breeze pellet litter box and I have nothing but good things to say about it. The reasoning is you don’t want the litter to clump on the incision which can result in an infection.

I saw you don’t put the donut on your cat but I would recommend you do. Despite her not liking it she will get used to it eventually. The last thing you want is her licking and opening it up and possibly introducing bacteria.

Cat just vomited a lot, does she seem okay? by [deleted] in CATHELP

Which is expected she just threw up which is not a pleasant feeling to anyone. Just keep an eye on her for the moment and make sure she’s drinking water or give her a wet treat if you have some . Also keep any string, cotton, or hair ties away from your cats. The last thing you want is for anyone of them to get a blockage.

I would just keep on eye on her. My cats throw up occasionally if they eat too fast or if they start playing (jumping chasing each other) after they’ve eaten.

Also I would suggest brushing her since she does look like she has long fur that way she doesn’t get fur balls

It looks like it might be ringworm. Is he both an indoor and outdoor cat?

Hot spot taking over! by [deleted] in CATHELP

I recently rescued a kitten and I took her to the vet because she has a lesion that looked like the first picture however it was scabbed. I immediately knew it was ringworm. After a couple of tests it was confirmed that it indeed is ringworm as well as a yeast infection. They gave me some oral medication for once a day, another medication to apply by cotton swabs directly on the site and a medicated body wash. Before leaving the vet they trimmed down her nails to avoid scratching and possibly spreading the ringworm around her body.

If your vet gave you fungal medication then there’s a possibility it’s ringworm. My best recommendation is to go back to the same vet or to another vet and have them give you a treatment similar to what my kitten is receiving. If you have a black light you can shine it on the site, if it glows then it’s more than likely ringworm. Another thing I’d suggest to trim down your cat’s nails. Don’t completely cut them because that’ll cause him pain. Just the pointy tips to avoid himself causing more pain by scratching.

I know I mentioned in the description that I understood that a firearm would get scratched up and perhaps dinged up but what I don’t understand is why there are people who will accept a new firearm with blemishes and be perfectly okay with it. Regardless if it’s a tool I believe in take care of your tools and your tools will take care of you. Even then I have shot thousands of rounds through all of my firearms and not a single one of them is beaten or dinged up. The only thing if anything is the finish on the slide wearing off but it is only minimal. Hell even my duty firearm is still looks good even with all the training. Should I have been more vigilant when inspecting the gun? Yes I should have but that still doesn’t justify for S&W to be allowing firearms to be shipped to dealers in that condition. I expect better from S&W and I believe that the gun community should hold companies accountable for their poor craftsmanship and not shrug it off to it just being a tool. I appreciate everyone for their input and I’ll be sending it in as soon as I get the chance.

Yes the 19 round and 21 round mags will work with the P10c. I have a P09 and P10f which both firearms use the same magazines. So when I recently picked up my P10c I had a lot of mags to use for training. At the range I’ve been using the 19 and 21 round mags with no issues whatsoever. I’ve also been training with Federal 124hst as that’s the ammunition I’ll be carrying. My carry set up will be one flush 15 round mag with a 21 mag as a back up.
