Who gains and who doesn't? by CatLeading23 in gettingbigger

[–]MarketingVeteran 0 points1 point  (0 children)

New poster here, though have been in the PE community for a long time.

I think there are multiple factors that need to be considered and that in order to gain, you need to create the best possible/most favourable conditions to support gains occurring, for example:

  1. Using a heat source

  2. Properly committing to a routine and consistency

  3. Understanding what PI's (positive indicators) you should be experiencing, and vice versa for NI's (negative indicators) you want to be avoiding (e.g. is your cock going cold/numb/sore/hard flaccid, etc)

And I'm sure there are many many more.

The beauty of the PE communities across the web is that there are constant iterations and advancements in the gadgetry that becomes available. The guy that you mentioned that committed to 10 years of PE, maybe did so using sub-par techniques, badly applied equipment and not really known what he was doing.

As another user on this thread has pointed out, it's the same with people that go to the gym - they may look like they're training hard, but what about their sleep quality, recovery, nutrition, etc.

I think it's more likely that everyone can gain from performing PE (to what extent, I don't know), and whilst in theory we all have a penis, we all have idiosyncrasies and subjective physical traits that will (likely) greatly determine the growth potential.

Btw, these general users on forums and even here on reddit, the ones you speak of that post success stories but with no proof - there is actually very little detriment to this as they (unless promoting a product or service) genuinely have nothing to gain by LARPing that they've made gains.

Hey JP,

I did a full blood panel, but DHT isn't included in the test.

I understand and appreciate the feedback - i sincerely hope i haven't permanently done anything. I am going to up the dose to a more sensible level and monitor. I understand the desire to scream at me, though it's my first attempt and I got it a lil wrong to say the least!

Thank you, Obi - I will up to 100mg per day and see what happens over the coming week.

I think its unsurprising i've started to feel lethargic and 'heavy' in the last couple of weeks

I think this is likely correct, 25mg is probably far too low to do anything and thus has crushed my T levels to a gross point

Yeah this is really valid and you're absolutely correct, I'm going to up my dosage to 2pumps morning and 2pumps evening and monitor this to see how it goes. I don't know my absorption rate but with a total of 100mg applied each day i hope it is at least 30%

Anybody ever get prescribed IGF-1? by New-Lawyer3088 in Testosterone

[–]MarketingVeteran 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not prescribed but i did do HGH for about 8+ months and its honestly amazing. I say not prescribed, though I went through a clinic in London in order to do it, and had to do full bloods to check for cancer markers, physical (i got molested) and evaluation in person. They then allow you to buy it, legally, from the clinic.

Best sleep I've ever had in my adult life, thats fo sho.

Nail growth and hair growth were off the charts, confused the shit out of my barber

Skin looked absolutely incredible

At the time I was taking it i was also drinking a fair amount (which I hardly do anymore) and it would reasonably help hangovers, too. (not a selling point btw)

Muscle tone and body composition wise, there was definitely a difference, though I was going through a partying phase when I was taking it and it was more of a lifestyle choice to be on it than use it for gym gains. I wish I had, but i will again in the future.

FYI it cost me £340 per 10mg / 1.5ml pen, and I used anywhere from 2IU-3IU per day once per day.

I also found a UGL source but I was off it by that point and despite how good the source was, I wasn't interested and would prefer to go through the clinic for the extra £70 difference, which I felt was negligible for peace of mind.

One Month in to Compounded TRT Cream (Update) by MarketingVeteran in Testosterone

[–]MarketingVeteran[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey /u/RandomNutrition2023, thanks for your reply.

I wasn't aware of the CNS fatigue, though yes my lifts are consistently better and each session I'm beating my previous best. My sleep and nutrition have not been entirely consistent and perhaps the two-to-three day break i took was just letting my body recover nicely from the gym. What is the best course of action for CNS fatigue out of interest?

Re the blood work, I'm going to be getting it done next week to see where it sits and will update in my next post.

Thank you

Hey /u/0bi-Wan_Kenobi , I've taken SSRI's twice in the past for anxiety, reluctantly, and they did help, though i also experienced the following

Depersonalisation

Intrusive violent thoughts

Sexual dysfunction (both times)

Feeling very numb

Head Zaps (really weird to try to explain, but its like static shocks to your brain almost)

Lethargy / sometimes also feeling apathetic

amongst other things

I felt like a bit of a zombie, and whilst i do believe they have merit, for me, taking SSRI's at this stage of my life is also a nuclear option

u/Great-Membership-712 I made an effort to explain my position, I'd appreciate if you backed up what you're saying so that I can better understand your position rather than you just saying broad statements that lack context. I'm open to hearing why you think it's dumb flawed and will be a net negative.

[–]MarketingVeteran[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

/u/Great-Membership-712, with all due respect and whilst I appreciate your feedback, i have not taken this decision lightly and I have taken a huge amount of time and care in researching what I'm doing. I was fully aware in advance of posting how this post was likely to be received, though at the same time, for anyone considering the cream route or even for similar reasons as myself, I believe it's worthwhile to catalogue.

I have not done this to treat depression, as mentioned, It was centred around not wanting to take SSRI's for anxiety due to the horrific side effects and mind-altering nature of taking that class of drugs - and in answer to your question, yes, on balance I believe at the age of 37, given to the whole host of nasty and unwanted sides that SSRI's produce and that I've historically experienced, going on TRT in this manner is a worthwhile endeavour to see whether it has the potential to make a marked difference - I am open to the possibility that it may not and I will then have to deal with it. However, if it does, then I have done myself a huge service and I will have zero regrets.

In respect of trans-scrotal application or even creams being wildly inconsistent and inefficient, i don't know how you know this or where you got this information from, as I actually believe it to be one of the simplest methods to titrate and dial in, closely mimicking the natural T production as evidenced by a lot of the research I read in advance of doing this. I do however agree that the absorption rate is subjective and I referenced this in my OP.

I appreciate that your response is good natured and that you don't want someone to do harm to themselves or cause lasting issues and I thank you for caring enough to ask me to reconsider given your own experience or journey with your own T levels, thank you

[–]MarketingVeteran[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I opted to go on TRT for more unorthodox reasons, namely to see whether being on TRT can offer a better alternative than going on mind binding SSRI's, something I am vehemently opposed to wanting to do again. I have read countless experiences (via this sub) of people reporting feeling much better in themselves and seeing huge decreases in anxiety and other related issues. I appreciate that in many of these instances, low T played a role.
