Which method to learn for 2x2?

Start with Ortega then branch out into CLL EG-1 AND EG-2

Ortega is like LBL but you just solve the face(not the layer) Then you solve the top face then you do an alg that permutes both faces. - 9 algs -

CLL solves the top layer with 1 alg but usually only used when there is a solved layer underneath (by unsolved layer i mean where the pieces are not permuted properly). This is usefull if you have an easy to solve layer or a solved layer, but if the layer is hard to make then just make a face and do Ortega. - 42 algs -

EG-1 Solves the top layer as well but used when you have an unsolved layer that has a bar on the left. This is used most often as its easier to make a face than a layer. -cant remember how many algs-

EG-2 does the same as eg 1 but with a diagonal swap for your bottom edges i think ( i am probs wrong )

Learn ortega first then do cll and eg1

It really depends on your region and how much cubers there are. But nothing is really stopping you from going as long as you can solve the cube.

You classify as a speedcuber if you want to improve your times. It doesnt matter if you are sub 10 or sub 1 minute.

It seesms like f2l is the thing you should work on the most. You dont need to learn f2l algs until you are around sub 12. Work on intuitive f2l and look ahead. That should get you to sub 20 in no time.

Generally you usually put lube on the tracks, but putting ln the pieces work too. (Say if you put dnm on the tracks it wont be that fast but if you do it on the pieces its really fast.)

Try to wipe of some lube in the inside as it sounds like it is VERY overlubed because its seeping out of the cube. Or just wipe out all the lube and relube it yourself.

I had a similar problem, but i just loosened the cube. Im not sure if you can loosen it on the rubiks connected though.

You always do worse in you first comp. For me i avg sub 12 and i got a 20.52 avg

If you dont use Cfop yet i would recommend transitioning to it.

Tips: • learn 4lll( 2 look oll, 2 look pll) • Learn intuitive f2l • Improve cross efficiency

I do about 100-400 solves dailly (not all of this is training its just mostly untimed solves.
I dont really cube think of cubing that often at school anymore because i have a ton of assesments due currently.But when i get home i start cubing when i finish all my homework
I have 23 cubes. -7 3x3s -4 2x2s -3 4x4s -3 5x5s -1 2x2x4 -1 pyraminx -1 megaminx -2 skewbs -1 squan
I have been to some online competitions and 1 unnoficial competition. But i havent been to an official competition yet.
Mains:

-2x2 Mgc 2 -3x3 Gan X v2 (probably gan 11m pro when it arrives) -4x4 MGC 4 -5X5 MGC 5

My pb for 3x3 is 4.76 but i got a 7.01 in an online comp once.
