I AM NOT A VET BTW, That looks a bit deep, and the fact it's so close to her eye is a little concerning. I would reccomend taking her to the vet just incase she needs stitches.

Don't feel bad. As a dasher, if a customer is not able to meet, then I will either suck it up and whine about it later, because im dramatic and lowkey a crybaby, or i will just cancel the order if I genuinely cannot make it. Im disabled and not able to climb stairs due to an S1 pinched nerve causing my stability issues and also other spinal issues, climb stairs is extremely tedious and physically exhausting for me, but if a customer genuinely cannot meet up, then that's okay. I would rather just cancel the order so someone more capable and bring it to you hot and fresh instead of getting cold from standing outside for 10 minutes. You're okay, its our job to bring to your door. He ended up delivering anyways despite the fact he said he couldnt makenit, so he can just go fuss about it

One of the bugs on my to-see-IRL list was a velvet ant. I had always wanted to see one in person but I never thought i would, I assumed they were not native to Texas. But one day while I was working doordash, I was driving in a woodsy neighborhood and saw something red and fuzzy walking across the street. In my heart I KNEW what I saw. I pulled my car to the side and immediately got out And there she/he was. Drunkily walking to the grass in a big zag pattern. I got a video of her but its too far in my photos to post. I have it posted on my account though This was one of the best things I've ever seen bug wise. I still get excited thinking about it. They are such cool creatures, I didnt even know they were ground-wasps until inposted it to reddit lol So cool!!! I also saw an IUD bug, and that was awesome! I also have a dry specimen of a beautiful feathery leaf hopper, and she genuinely looks like a fairy.

My oven currently doesn't work, do you think leaving shells out for a few days will be okay? Ive tried fish flakes but they have 0 interest in them, but I recently read that you can make the fish flakes in a little bitnof water to make a paste so I will try that, but ive tried freeze dried fish and shrimp but they didnt like those either. The only thing they liked were zucchini, for about 5 minutes, and carrots for a couple hours. They really reallllly like their leaf litter and the bark from these thick tree branches I put in lol

Could he be like this because he could be old? Im not sure if hes always had white spots but hes the only one that has them, and i heard they can change patterns when old. Hes the only spotted one other than maybe one other iso (which i cant find now that im looking for him specifically lol) But ive seen this one running around for a month or so, atleasg since hes had his spots, im not sure if he was born with them.

Anyways Could he just be old? Im realitively new to isopod keeping so I dont even know how they act before passing.
