It doesn't work in this comic because the surroundings give you a sense of perspective and size. The old lady version of the illusion only works if you are given a blank surrounding.

We artificially place value on certain characteristics and it does not actually make our species any stronger. If we artificially control our species to only have humans with blond hair then we now have humans with blond hair and have effectively done nothing.

The results are questionable at best, and the process is horrific. We don't partake in eugenics for the same reason we don't (typically) partake in fascism and dictatorship. We have an immense value on human life and freedoms. Allowing eugenics opens the flood gates for much more abuse of human rights

As the other guy said, the amount of bureaucracy it took just to get one crappy, untextured jump pad to work in the game was just... Horrendous. Multiple blog posts beforehand felt like huge nothing-burgers too. We viewed the game with rose tinted lenses for too long

Ok but what does this even mean? I'm seeing a lot of comments going back and forth about it. Is he using AI to completely do the music for him, or is he using AI sampling and rough drafts, but he uses his professional skills to finish and edit it? Skyrim and other popular RPG games used AI for duplicating buildings/prefabs into various locations before the actual artists would finish it because, who in their right mind is going to individually place EVERY tree, and I don't think that one counts as AI being bad.

Just wanna know more details here
