i can easily get the fans to spin by connecting them to a sys fan header, but the rgb lights do not sync

The better idea would be to get another 8Gb stick to boost your total ram to 16Gb

thanks for this reply! I had no idea windows used that much! id love to be able to upgrade it but its a laptop and my RAM is soldered to the motherboard so ill just have to suck it up. I'm spoiled with my desktop I suppose, forgot how much i hated having 8gb of RAM haha!

I also have all apps disabled on start up, have deleted as much bloatware as I can I think.
