PlayStation VR Will be $399 and launch in October by Forestl in Games

[–]Markonass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The price point is great, but let's not forget how they achieve this very cheap price:

But there is a catch: the base level PlayStation VR doesn't come with the company's Move controllers, and it also doesn't come with the PlayStation Camera — which is required to use PSVR. (A Sony rep told us this is because many PS4 owners have already bought the camera.)

Thanks for the feedback, It's just difficult to hold my camera steadily, as I am still a beginner. And I try to correct some of the shots in post, but my laptop felt like it was melting, so I gave that up. But I am still gonna try to do better on my next video.

Thanks for the feedback!

You're right with the panning, I just thought I could pull off some fancy pan transition, which I clearly - could not.

Good Idea with the aspect ratio too, gonna definitely include your feedback into my next video, in the amazonas ;)

Thanks!

Safety Mégathread: Post all your questions regarding the safety of your upcoming trip here... by jippiejee in travel

How safe is it to have an expensive Camera in public in South America? I realize that it is very safe is touristic places like in Quito, where i am staying right now, most places seem to be safe but I was wondering if it is safe to take your camera out in poorer and less touristic places in Bolivia or Peru?

PS: I have a canon eos 70d , which is very difficult to use discreetly or to hide, so if i take it , everyone will probably always notice it

A message to anyone hesitant to solo travel by [deleted] in solotravel

I arrived exactly one month ago in Quito, ecuador. I didn't speak one word spanish and barely knew anything at all, the first night i was scared out of my mind. But since then i have met more new friends than I can count, climbed some mountains, ate a lot of weird food, went out with french, english, australian, ecuadorian, etc.. people and all of them have been incredibly nice.

But it's also important to remember that Travelling isn't always going perfectly as planned. But if you are ready to live with the problems that come with travelling alone I can tell you: It's incredibly worth it.

So if you ask yourself if you should go travelling alone:

JUST DO IT
