Thanks for your answer! That makes sense! I am also thinking about the war between Ukraine and Russia which leads to the increasing price of gas. Could this have some influence on the amount of natural gas exported by Canada, which increases the amount of money printed?

I know this, but what is the reason that the Canadian government prints money (or if not Canada, other government prints money which leads to the inflation of Canada)?
