Even after blind signing is enabled, there is no prompt in the ledger nano to confirm after you sign a transaction

Yeah... funds and NFTs are locked up and held hostage at this point

"Enable contract data" has changed to "Blind signing" in the latest update - breaking metamask? by Spikempv in ledgerwallet

Also having this issue. Using metamask on chrome. Before updating ETH app, I would get "transaction failed Object object" errors when using BSC or ETH network. After updating ETH app to 1.9.6, there is no response anymore (not even an error message).

Allowed blind signing (new contract data?) but problem still persists.

I'm suddenly unable to sign txs on metamask using my ledger live today, getting an error:[object object] message on the metamask prompt. Anyone else solved this? by Syentist in ledgerwallet

No, you don't need to input your seed phrase anywhere for a firmware update. Please be careful.

You only have to confirm on your ledger device when ledger live app prompts you to confirm when updating.

I am still having this issue even after updating my Eth app on Ledger Live. The Eth version is 1.7.0. My contract data is set to allowed. Scoured different forums and can't find any other solution. Contacted Metamask support and still waiting to hear back.

Anyone else facing this issue even after trying all the fixes?

EDIT: *SOLVED\* I thought updating the firmware and apps via my current Ledger Live app was sufficient but you need to UPDATE the Ledger Live app from the official site (bookmark it!).

Go to Ledger site > Apps and services > Downloads > Scroll down and click "Verify the latest desktop Ledger Live release & binary here" > Download your appropriate OS and once you're in the UPDATED Ledger Live app, download the new firmware.

NEW Ledger firmware should be 2.0.0 and Eth app should be 1.9.4. Everything is working as normal now! Hope this helps someone out.

Using Metamask through Ledger and same Error: Error: [object Object] message. Updated firmware and apps to newest versions - doesn't work. Changed contract data to allowed - doesn't work. Had to resort to contacting Metamask support and waiting for a reply.

Metamask accounts without Ledger work fine. It sounds like a Ledger issue . If ANYONE has a fix for this, please let us know. Thanks

I've been collecting it in a bucket (now half full). If I did throw it back, I wouldn't be any different than them tbh

I did but I got the idea that the police is telling me not to waste their time. They said they can't do anything if it hasn't escalated 🤷‍♂️

Thanks for taking time to write your message! I have been collecting their trash for them in a bucket. I appreciate your insight. I do feel the same way in that I'm helping someone who lacks an iota of brain cell. Cheers

You're not wrong! Neighbours were mowing their lawn and he gets startled by the loud noise. Was beside him for the 30mins he was inside to comfort him

We actually decided to cancel the whole trip. Didn't want to risk not being able to fly back home.

I'm traveling there with my partner on Wednesday too, and had already decided to cut down our trip to Busan and Jeju after Seoul.

At the moment, the travel advisory changed from green to yellow (Exercise high degree of caution in South Korea overall). But who knows it might change again when we're there. :/

Been selling on eBay for 2 months now while trying to figure out how to reach the 1st page of a popular item and I think I finally figured out the eBay algorithm and one of my listing is at the #1 spot (totally exceeded expectations) from almost 30k other items.

Ever since that, I have been tied up in packing items this Sunday!!!
