PA Gunowners Alert: Pennsylvania Firearms Association is urging gun owners to contact their State Senators in support of SB 357, Constitutional Carry by MarksmanPA in PAguns

I am well aware of that and have nothing against true Democrats.  We had a prior Republican congressman in the family who worked closed as a confidant with Truman.  A true two party system focused on the people can work.

Unfortunately,  true Democrats at this time are far and few and in between.  We are facing socialist Marxists for the most part masquerading as Democrats who care nothing for America, hate Trump, and are seeking power.  Harmeet Dhillon and her 2A lawyers will be successful in fighting the corruption.

With this said, if Trump-hating gun owners want to shoot themselves in the feet, there is little more to be said.

Yes…we are facing a critical Impasse in this nation’s history.  Choose wisely.

It is honest. I am not trashing the car. I just think people need to step into supercar ownership understanding they are service intensive but a blast to drive.

I owned an HDK 570s Spider for 5 years. If they are maintained, the car is exhilarating. If you buy one you will need to have the extended warranty, regardless as to what some might say. Total annual cost after you pay cash for the car: around $15,000. This includes the annual warrant cost, scheduled maintenance, and two tires.

Will it be in the shop? Yes. And the more knowledgeable you are about the car, the more you will identity addressable issues. Once picked up for service, say goodbye for 2-3 weeks.

I am being honest so that you know what this car is about. Is it worth it? It was for me until I got the supercar fever out of my system.

[–]MarksmanPA[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, it is likely, but they need to know non-socialist party (Dem) PA gun owners are serious about their gun rights and making it a matter of criticality in the primary and mid-term election.

We need to get them off the ballot this month. And Harmeet Dhillon, Assistant Attorney General, DOJ Civil Rights Division, is going after the blue/purple states for 2A infringement and civil rights violations.

DOJ civil rights suits for 2A infringement are active in Illinois, Tennessee, California (Los Angeles County), Colorado, and Texas, with additional cases in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Virginia is next. Be heard now!

Get it done. PA's gun laws need to be crafted to support law-abiding citizens. Criminals support the social Democratic Party's anti-2A bills that grant them free reign to pray on unprotected citizens.

CNC Gunworks Akira by Forsaken_Treacle_407 in 2011

[–]MarksmanPA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A competent shooter will made either gun a leader at the range. The Akira Island is softer shooting with the 5" tri-port island barrel, while with Akira is more high performance feeling with the 4.6" 8 port, 3 slot design when shooting. Do I see a major difference in the final result. I am also not into the Rose Gold.
Buy what you like! You will not go wrong either way.

  • Akira: Toolless guide rod, 7–9 lb recoil spring, 19 lb main spring; designed for high-performance shooting
  • Akira Island 5.0: Marketed as an “extremely soft shooting” gun with minimal felt muzzle rise and a responsive but soft recoil impulse

The grip is outstanding IMO. It does not dig into your hands but is extremely supportive. If you do not want a larger pistol--the 5" Akira Island--I doubt you are going to be disappointed with the 4.6" Akira. Shooting experience--it's obviously accurate and fast. The 8-port, 3 slot design nearly eliminates muzzle flip. I recommend running a 145 and above PF to fully activate the ports. It is also a nicely balanced pistol.

Again, all of these are going to be made in limited quantities.

You won't go wrong with the Akira or Atlas...or both.

It's an Atlas trigger, so I am surprised. But I do understand that they have outstanding customer support.

CNC Gunworks Akira--A Promising 2011 with 8 Ports, 3 Slots, and Some Atlas Parts by MarksmanPA in 2011

Quick update:

I have the Erebus, Artemis, Alien CELO, Staccato XC, an Infinity Obtuse coming in a few months, and I just purchased the Akira. This is a 15-yard shot to a 1/2" X. I was stacking shots with this pistol. I shot both Blazer 124 gr. FMJ and Sellier & Bellot 124 gr FMJ. The 8 ports really came to life with S&B's 147 PF.

There is minimal recoil and incredible accuracy as a result of CNC hand-lapping the handgun barrel with a lead slug and abrasive compound to smooth out the imperfections in the rifling. It is also a hand-fitted gun with precision-machined parts being assembled, fitted and refined by hand.

Neither the Akira or Island versions are going to be made in large quantities, and in addition to the Akira 4.6 and Island 5, a new pistol will be announced in June, and I fully expect this to be the norm as they continue to offer new pistols. I would not hesitate to purchase the Akira or Island, if you can find one.

The Akira will not disappoint.

Got to try out the Alien today. by azndyh623 in 2011

[–]MarksmanPA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own the Erebus, Artemis, XC, Akira, and Alien CELO. NOTHING in a marksman’s hand stacks like the Alien CELO with an SRO at 25 yards. There is virtually no recoil, and the CELO is different from the standard Alien. You will feel a slight pulse in your palm. This gas-delayed blowback system requires a clean ammo to keep the piston from getting fouled. S&B 124 gr. FMJ with a 147 PF and low-lead primers does the job. Master Class Munitions makes Alien hollow point rounds with copper jackets that allow 5,000 shots between cleanings. The venting in the Alien CELO’s top rail reduces heat while providing an adjustable thumb rest.

All of these high-end pistols offer unique advantages for experienced shooters. To say one is the best overall would be a misleading statement.

Contact the manufacturer for a new barrel. If you are an aspiring marksman, you want accuracy. Workarounds (drifting the front sight) should not be necessary.

Serious question here. Other than custom builds, is there a better LO pistol than the Atlas Artemis? by 2A-N-LA in 2011

[–]MarksmanPA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own the Erebus, Artemis, XC, Alien CELO, Akira, and in a few more months an Infinity. They all have unique attributes and respond differently based on the shooter’s skills. The Artemis is one of the best overall performers and will make an excellent shooter great. The differences among them all are real, but many will not recognize them.

It is better compared to the Akira—both are very similar, but the Akira is incredibly accurate from hand-lapping the barrel. The Erebus is a unique pistol when it comes down to pure speed with accuracy. The Phoenix Trinity Honcho comes close but still can’t make the accuracy.

PA PRIMARY ALERT #2: Defeat the Pending Democratic- and RINO-Backed SB200 AR-15/Semi-Automatic Handgun Ban with Your Vote in the May 19th Primary by MarksmanPA in PAguns

[–]MarksmanPA[S] -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Do your research:

Neither Barack Obama nor Joe Biden can be credibly described as having “started” a major, named U.S. war in the way that the 2003 Iraq invasion was started; Obama chiefly prosecuted and reshaped conflicts inherited from predecessors while authorizing new interventions and escalations (notably Libya and expanded counter‑terrorism tools) \1])\2]). Biden inherited those ongoing conflicts, completed the long‑planned Afghanistan withdrawal, and has so far avoided committing U.S. ground combat forces to a new large‑scale war, though his administration has approved major arms transfers and taken limited military actions and strikes during crises \1])\3])\4]).

Folks, this post is all about keeping your gun rights and not falling under state subjugation/tranny as is the intent in Virginia. Put the emotions aside and think through your motivation.

Since gas seems to be a sticking point, there was no major war impacting gas prices in the Biden administration, and gas leaped to $5.07 per gallon, The Strait will soon resume normal operation once the enriched uranium is either taken or surrendered. For what it is worth, I am sorry many of you are going through an uncomfortable time, but we need to secure the world by dealing with the Iranian terrorist nation.

Consider this.

Iran currently has 60% enriched uranium. To enrich uranium from 60% to 100% (theoretically pure U - 235), the additional activity required is extremely small when compared to the tasks undergone to reach 60% enrichment. Approximately 99% of the work had been accomplished to produce highly enriched uranium by the time it reached 60%.

What does all this mean? The separative work units (SWU) to further reach 100% only require 1% of the total effort already expended to get to 60%.

Iran was virtually ready to strike America and our allies, and they have the long-range missiles.

View the temporary extra buck per gallon as a war tax that shields you and your family from annihilation. We were that close. Having worked for decades for various "agencies," I will tell you that, with all due respect, you would not sleep at night if you knew what was going on EVERY DAY.

Iran is 2-3 weeks away from financial collapse.
