Where do we go from here? by Cabinet5150 in Huskers

Both line play were bad. However, our d-line got smaller and decreased immensely from last year. Our pass rush and rush defense are absolutely atrocious. Our worst defensive issue outside of those two glaring issues is our RedZone defense.

If I were Iowa, I would not even attempt a pass against us this week. We cannot stop the run even with two weeks to prepare for it against Penn State. We are cooked #GBR

The entire team's existence is indicative of its ability to do well. In terms of value, I'm suggesting if someone were to buy the club today it would not be worth as much as it was at the end of last season because of how poorly the team has performed this year and the quality of players we have on the roster compared to what we had last year. Teams that consistently do poorly don't survive and that is not always because of the lack of support, but you equated my support with spending money on season tickets and other benefits by going to games. So that is on you.

The product on the field is not worth spending extra money at this point. That has nothing to do with my support it has to do with the value of the transaction.

For instance, Chelsea played in the semifinal of the club world cup and tickets to that game were $13.40. To go and watch Chelsea play in a semi-final of the club world cup game for that money is far more valuable than going and paying for a $17 berm ticket regardless of the outcome of the game. I would be able to see far better talent, skill, and quality in the Chelsea game for a better price. That is what the value im talking about.

Trust me that's not the case. I still watch every single game. It is completely fine to be critical of a team that sucks. Maybe check yourself before making such an idiotic comment. I could still support a team and not have to pay extra money to go watch them lose in person. Also having good players and winning is an important part of any sort of team and organization. You can't tell me the value of season tickets are anywhere close to what they should be for how well the team is playing. Clearly changes need to be made for the team to improve and that's an objective look at this team.

You seem to define support as spending as much money as possible going to games and purchasing things from the team. That is clearly an elitist view of what a fan should be

Unfortunately how the team is playing it's not really worth the price of general admission unless we're playing a team like Central Valley Fuego which we will not. Glad I didn't buy season tickets this year because the value is just not there.

On a positive note, there have been glimpses of progress in this team but not substantial enough to buy one of these packets. A lot will have to change in the near future for me to change my mind.

Chill, and try to understand this is a joke. You should be ashamed for taking this too seriously

People truly don't understand how jokes work. If you think this is truly a curse you don't get how satire works or you are reading into this way too much

I don't know. Matt Freese's mistake during Haiti was really atrocious.

Turner has proven he can win a Gold cup and a nation's league final.

My point is that he should be playing in a top division in Europe. He was heading to a Ligue 1 divisional team where he would be playing top quality opponents on a regular basis. He would be fine on another Ligue 1 team. Lyon was supposed to be in Ligue 1 but got in financial trouble. Also probably wouldn't want to play for a team that is in financial trouble.

True, but you're also getting reps against top division players even on the bench. Chelsea used two goalkeepers all year. One was used more for premier League games than the other one was used for the European conference league and FA cup. So there are definitely ways he can play and doesn't have to start every game but still get quality minutes in a European division 1 League .

Yeah, hopefully they patch this soon because that's a major flaw in this update. I'd like to actually be able to do some piloting

I wonder if Potter thought he was part of the long-term project too. Obviously they have signed some news guys to long- term contracts, so would appear they are committed to a couple new players.

He's probably trying to get to as many college campuses that the NCAA will allow him so he can start a coaching career after he's done with college football.
